Just can't get enough of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Near Montez Reservoir Number 1 you locate the Cascade Trail which is a great hiking trail. Pantleon Creek is right next door to Montez Reservoir Number 1 and is always a bliss to stop at; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Eldora. | |

Montez Reservoir Number 1 is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Montez Reservoir Number 1. Montez Reservoir Number 1 is delightful enough
to spend more than a day at, Aspen Acres Campground is a delightful local campground, needless to say you could also check out McIntire Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. Not much rain falls here at Montez Reservoir Number
