Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. It's a tremendous idea to explore Pantleon Creek, it's close to Montez Number 5 Reservoir; if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Cascade Trail. Aspen Acres Campground is a pleasant local campground, and the Horse Ranch Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. All through the warm months, highs mostly are       in the 80's at Montez Number 5 Reservoir with overnight lows in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Montez Number 5 Reservoir. This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains. What would winter be without some skiing at Eldora, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Bear Creek Trail. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Montez Number 5 Reservoir has                  it all. Why not camp at Pinyon Flats Campground if you're here at Montez Number 5 Reservoir. Montez Number 5 Reservoir is a location that is pretty dried up regularly; the month with most of the rain is August while January is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
