So many fun things to do here at Montez Number 5 Reservoir, too splendid to be true. Pinyon Flats Campground is a brilliant campground here; if you desire a little side visit, try Poison Canyon. Don't leave Montez Number 5 Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Horse Ranch Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge Motel. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever       wanna go back home again. If you need a place to stay Great Sand Dunes Lodge is a great choice. High temperatures at Montez Number 5 Reservoir throughout the months of summer are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Montez Number 5 Reservoir are in the 0's. Montez Number 5 Reservoir is frequently a pretty dried out place; of all the months in                  a year August is the one with the most rain while January is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. It's a perfect idea to have a look at Pantleon Creek, it's in close proximity to Montez Number 5 Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Montez Reservoir Number 1 is close at hand. Yeah, come up here to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for a good time. There's great hiking along the Bear Creek Trail, and Montez Number 5 Reservoir is a good spot to camp, Aspen Acres Campground is a good spot. This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
