If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Molas Lake. Molas Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. A lake close by is Andrews Lake; hiking along the Whitehead Trail is tremendous fun. good place to spend a night or two, and Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel is a pleasant place to get some rest. What would winter be without some skiing at Kendall Mountain, and Molas Lake Park is a wonderful campground nearby.
This place, Molas Lake, it just has so much outdoors amusing stuff. If you get bored of Molas Lake, you could also take a look at nearby Little Molas Lake; get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Mineral Creek - South.
But wait, there's more to do close to Molas Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Molas Pass is in the neighborhood of Molas Lake and is a great spot, and the slopes of Silverton are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful.
Molas Lake is right by the Deer Park Trail; you can run the rapids of Lime Creek. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Molas Lake reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures
during the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Molas Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
