This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Lower Mohawk Lake in the neighborhood of Mohawk Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and one of the main highlights of the surroundings of Mohawk Lake is Crystal Peak. It is very dry here at Mohawk Lake commonly; July is the wettest month with most rain while January is generally the driest month. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Tenmile Creek;       there's perfect hiking along the Wheeler Trail. Mayflower Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop at; there's whitewater on Arkansas River for all you adrenaline junkies. So much cool stuff to do here at Mohawk Lake, too fine to be true. If you're stopping by Mohawk Lake from Silverthorne, you won't be the only one, and Breckenridge is a great local ski area. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mohawk Lake; Burro Trail is a wonderful local trail; everybody                  close by loves skiing at Crested Butte. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Mohawk Lake with overnight lows in the 30's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Mohawk Lake. Yeah, come here to Mohawk Lake for a nice time. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Upper Blue Dam, and if you need a place to stay Crystal Peak Lodge is a tremendous choice. If you came for an overnight stay Tiger Run Resort is a fine spot to camp, and a fine close by hotel is Los Pinos by ResortQuest.
