What a nice lake Mohawk Lake is. Not much precipitation falls here at Mohawk Lake; July is the month that gets the most rain; January is when it's the driest. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Blue Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Mohawk Lake there are plenty of people from Silverthorne; the Wheeler Trail offers hiking at its best.

You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mohawk Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kite Lake Campground, and get covered with water paddling on Tenmile Creek. Float down the rapids of Arkansas River in a kayak, and skiing at Crested Butte is one of those things you just must do.

don’t go skiing at Breckenridge since you're here. There's so much to do here at Mohawk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tiger Run Resort is a wonderful site for that. Hiking along the Wheeler Trail is great fun, and a
wonderful nearby hotel is Crystal Peak Lodge.
Summertime highs at Mohawk Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 30's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Mohawk Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights.
