The beauty of Mohawk Lake attracts many people from all around. Through the summertime at Mohawk Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Mohawk Lake. While you're here at Mohawk Lake you can take a hike along the Wheeler Trail, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Arkansas River. Mohawk Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Kite Lake Campground is a nice local campground, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Silverthorne for sure. doubt abundant here at Mohawk Lake. After a long day outdoors Los Pinos by ResortQuest is a great spot to spend a night or two, and Breckenridge is a very popular ski area close by.
Crystal Peak Lodge is a nice place to get some
rest, and going for a hike along the Burro Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You can take a little visit to Upper Blue Dam since you're here at Mohawk Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant spot to
camp here at Mohawk Lake is Tiger Run Resort, and hiking along the Wheeler Trail is brilliant fun.
Lower Mohawk Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; Tenmile Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by.
