This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Mock Reservoir is not the only site close by, Alexander Reservoir is a close by lake, and hiking along the Spring Creek Trail is splendid fun. Not much rainfall falls here at Mock Reservoir; throughout the month of October you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn &       Suites, and why not camp at Hangin Tree RV while you're here at Mock Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant location near Mock Reservoir is Dolores Canyon, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Paradox Road. Be careful coming to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. Near Mock Reservoir you find a golf course called Cobble Creek Golf Course, and Sims Mesa is clearly visible from Mock Reservoir. High                  temperatures at Mock Reservoir through the days of summer are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mock Reservoir. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area right next door to Mock Reservoir has to offer.
