Summer at Mitchell Lake Number 3 comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mitchell Lake Number 3. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot to camp here at Mitchell Lake Number 3 is Dowdy Lake - Arapaho National Forest, and there are tremendous places to       explore along the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do close to Mitchell Lake Number 3. Good hiking is available along the Killpecker Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Cache La Poudre River. Why not camp at Bellaire Lake Campground since you're here at Mitchell Lake Number 3; get soaked paddling on Cache La Poudre River.
