An afternoon playing golf at Fox Acres Country Club is always a diversion, and camping at Bellaire Lake Campground is always a tremendous experience. This lake is so wonderful. It is very dry here at Mitchell Lake Number 1 generally; July is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. Mitchell Lake Number 1 is wonderful enough to spend       more than a day at, Dowdy Lake - Arapaho National Forest is a wonderful local campground, and not far from Mitchell Lake Number 1 you'll discover Red Feather Lake which is a charming lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Medicine Bow Mountains has to offer. A great nearby hotel is Peak To Peak Lodge Inc., and the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable things,                  what a great world it would be. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Cache La Poudre River, and going for a hike on the Killpecker Trail is always a brilliant adventure. For the duration of the summertime here at Mitchell Lake Number 1, high temperatures usually get into the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; overnight lows during the winter for Mitchell Lake Number 1 tend to be in the 0's. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Medicine Bow Mountains is excellent! Paddling on Cache La Poudre River is so much fun, and nearby you come across the North Lone Pine Trail which is a nice hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Nakomis Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and there are other places here than Mitchell Lake Number 1, for example Pocahontas Lake.
