Take a hike on the Mount Audubon Trail, and you don’t have to go far from Mitchell Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Long Lake Dam. You get a great view of Mount Audubon from Mitchell Lake, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Berthoud Pass. Summertime highs at Mitchell Lake usually tend to be in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
