Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Mitchell Lake is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more enjoyable stuff to do in the Front Range. This is a nice vicinity for people who like lakes. Long Lake is a lake in close proximity, and Rocky Mountain National Park is a very perfect location to check out. There's so much to do here at Mitchell Lake that you need to camp here for

Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Lake Isabelle, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Lodge At Nederland. Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do in the neighborhood of Mitchell Lake. On a splendid day at Mitchell Lake you can take a hike along the Mount Audubon Trail; Berthoud Pass has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. Now, | |

you may feel that's lots but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Front Range. While you're here at Mitchell Lake you can take a hike along the Blue Lake Trail, and why not pop by Long Lake Dam if you're here.
Hit the slopes at Winter Park close at hand; if you came to camp Pawnee Campground is a great place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder
Creek - South, and the top of Mount Audubon is easily made out from Mitchell Lake. Mitchell Lake gets very little rainfall; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
For the duration
of the summertime, highs mostly are in the 70's at Mitchell Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mitchell Lake
temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling next to Mitchell Lake is Boulder Creek, and if you need a place to stay Stone Mountain Lodge And Cabins is a magnificent choice.
