There's so much to do here at Missouri Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Central City Blackhawk Campground is a magnificent site for that, and you can go for a hike on the Bolling Gulch Trail. A tour to Missouri Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Missouri Falls, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Dory Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. So much       fun stuff to do here in the Front Range, too good to be true. If you would like a little side tour, try Eureka Gulch, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek. All the outdoors exciting things near Missouri Lake will keep you coming back many times. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Missouri Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gambler's Edge RV Resort, and there's                  good hiking along the Kings Lake Trail. Around Missouri Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. All year is a good time in the Front Range if you love the outdoors. Missouri Lake is not the only place nearby, Snowline Lake is a nearby lake, and obviously Missouri Creek is a striking stream that is worth visiting. At Missouri Lake all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Missouri Lake drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mount Thorodin Trail, and after a long day outdoors Georgetown Mountain Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. Missouri Lake is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. Having a splendid time at Missouri Lake is uncomplicated. Winter Park is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. A splendid view of gorgeous Bates Hill is available from Missouri Lake; Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a splendid site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
