All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows through the winter for Mirror Lake tend to be in the-10's. Lots of people from Silverthorne come to Mirror Lake; there are other locations here than Mirror Lake, for example Cliff Lake. And if that's not enough there's a heap       more cool stuff to do in the Park Range. On a good day at Mirror Lake you can take a hike along the Surprise Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Blue River. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Piney Crossing Campground is always a good experience, and one of the main marks of the surroundings of Mirror Lake is Eagles Nest. If you came to camp Big Green Campground is a great place to do that. Evergreen Lodge At Vail is a great site to get some rest,                  and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Beaver Creek. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mirror Lake you can take a hike along the Piney Lake Trail. Lakes? Sure, Griffith Lake is in the vicinity. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Mirror Lake. Going for a hike along the Eaglesmere Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and dry warm beds await you at Vail Mountain Lodge And Spa. Mirror Lake is a location that is relatively dried up commonly; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month is February. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Gore Creek, and Vail is a very popular ski area in close proximity.
