Mirror Lake is always a pleasure to visit. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Park Range, too wonderful to be true. Western Lodge is a great site to get some rest; why not camp at Dry Lake Campground if you're here at Mirror Lake. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. Lakes? Sure, Big Creek Lake is nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Village at Steamboat.
Visit East Branch South Fork Mad Creek while you're here at Mirror Lake, and

| | there's whitewater on Elk River for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Horse Thief Park are nice to have a look at, and you can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Howelsen Hill. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Mirror Lake. Near Mirror Lake you come across the Luna Lake Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Elk River.

Mirror Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest of the months is August. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Summit Lake Campground is a brilliant place to camp,
and going for a hike on the Big Creek Lake Trail is always a good adventure. Man, is there lots of exciting stuff to do in the Park Range. At Mirror Lake you can see Horse Thief Peak, and you can go for a hike on the Crags Trail.
Skiing at Steamboat is one of those things you just should do. High temperatures at Mirror Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Mirror Lake.
