Many people like to go to Mirror Lake. Horse Thief Park is a pleasant site to check out; at Mirror Lake you can see Horse Thief Peak. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake is frequently a quite dried up place; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that snows the most while August is generally the driest month.
If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Park Range.

| | Lakes? Sure, Rosa Lake is close by, and Howelsen Hill is a splendid local ski area. East Branch South Fork Mad Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at, and Mirror Lake is right by the Big Creek Lake Trail. Any time is a pleasant time at Mirror Lake if you go for the outdoors. Lake Margaret is a great lake near Mirror Lake, and whitewater paddling is great on Elk River.

things to do in the Park Range. Stay the night at Summit Lake Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Winterwood Townhomes. After a long day outdoors Western Lodge is a good site to spend a night or two, and hiking along the Crags
Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. The Luna Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and Mirror Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Dry Lake Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby.
This
lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elk River, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Steamboat is reasonably near. Through the warm months here at Mirror Lake,
high temperatures regularly reach the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, typically in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Mirror Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range.
