If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Mirror Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Park Range. East Branch South Fork Mad Creek is a great local stream; a pleasant visit to Horse Thief Park is a great way to spend an afternoon. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Crags Trail; Winterwood Townhomes is a fine place to get some rest.

| | If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. Mirror Lake gets very little rain; most of the snow falls through December, and August is the month with the least moisture. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is bountiful here in the Park Range. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Steamboat, and you can stay the night at Dry Lake Campground.

spots on Elk River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mirror Lake; Big Creek Lake Trail is a great local trail. Man, is there lots of exciting things to do in the vicinity of Mirror Lake. There's fine hiking along the Luna
Lake Trail; not far from Mirror Lake you'll hit upon Rosa Lake which is a picturesque lake. At Mirror Lake you can observe Horse Thief Peak. There's so much to do here at Mirror Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Summit
Lake Campground is a fine spot for that.
Really fine skiing awaits you at Howelsen Hill, and there's whitewater on Elk River for all you thrill seekers. There are other places here than Mirror Lake, for example Lake Margaret,
and a good nearby hotel is Western Lodge. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mirror Lake with night lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Mirror Lake.
