West Dolores Campground is a glorious campground here; good hiking is available along the Fish Creek Trail. You don’t have to go far from Miramonte Reservoir to spot the water at Miramonte Dam; don’t forget to visit Greager Flats since you're here at Miramonte Reservoir. Take a little spree to Log Corral Creek if you're here

Reservoir you will meet lots of folks from nearby Montrose; hiking is a popular thing to do around Miramonte Reservoir; Horsefly Trail is a good local trail. If you come at the right time of year, San Miguel River offers some
good whitewater. At Miramonte Reservoir during the long summer days highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Miramonte Reservoir dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
