Minnesota Reservoir in fact is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. Get covered with water paddling on Anthracite Creek - Ruby Fork, and close by you find Horse Gulch which is a nice place to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Minnesota Reservoir; Sunset Trail is a great local trail; needless to say Deer Creek is a gorgeous stream that       is worth taking a look at. At Minnesota Reservoir during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Minnesota Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Smith Fork Campground, and nice hiking is available along the Hammond Trail.                  You can take a little trip to Monument Dam while you're here at Minnesota Reservoir, and the vista of stunning Lion Mesa is perfect. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Minnesota Pass Trail, and paddling on Gunnison River - North Fork is so much fun. A delightful site to camp here at Minnesota Reservoir is Bar Diamond Ranch, and if you need a location to stay Sunlight Mountain Inn is a great choice.
