For the duration of the months of summer at Minnesota Reservoir highs are generally in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's. A nice location near Minnesota Reservoir is Horse Gulch, and paddling on Anthracite Creek -       Ruby Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. There are delightful locations to discover along the Hammond Trail, and here at Minnesota Reservoir you can catch a glimpse of Lion Mesa. From a precipitation point of view Minnesota Reservoir is a reasonably normal place; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. There's some flowing water close by, Deer Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here, and                  you'll find a scenic lake called Monument Reservoir. This place, Minnesota Reservoir, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Go for a hike on the Sunset Trail, and a good spot to camp here at Minnesota Reservoir is Bar Diamond Ranch. This lake is so wonderful. Sunlight Mountain Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Gunnison River - North Fork. Why not stop by Monument Dam if you're here; do stop by Lone Cabin Reservoir, it's a charming lake.
