If you are in Summit county it's always a good idea to stop by Minnehaha Reservoir. There are other sites here than Minnehaha Reservoir, for example Pass Lake, and Ski Tip Townhomes is a great place to get some rest. Woods Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Keystone. This lake is so wonderful. Minnehaha Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Aspen Campground is a nice local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a side trip to Deer Creek; a magnificent view of pretty Bear Mountain is available. Life's
too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the vicinity of Minnehaha Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Argentine Trail, and glorious skiing awaits you at Arapahoe Basin. Going for a hike on the Grays Peak Trail is always a great adventure,
and dry warm beds await you at Key To The Rockies Lodging At Keystone.
High temperatures at Minnehaha Reservoir through the summer months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 30's. The wintertime brings
highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Minnehaha Reservoir. Around Minnehaha Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January.
