There's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline junkies. There's so much to do here at Miners Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fort Collins KOA is a splendid spot for that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. Miners Lake is typically a relatively arid location; the month with most of the rain is July, and the       driest of the months is December. On a great day at Miners Lake you can take a hike along the Greyrock Trail, and naturally Park Creek flows through this area. Lakes are tremendous; Dry Creek Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Miners Lake; if you need a place to stay The Armstrong Hotel is a perfect choice. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Miners Lake. You're probably into lakes, North Poudre Reservoir Number 1 is one of those nearby;                  if you came to camp Laporte Koa Kampground is a great place to do that.
