Lakes are magnificent; Dry Creek Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Miners Lake. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Front Range. People from Fort Collins-Loveland love to come to Miners Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Fort Collins KOA is a nice location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. The vistas at Rocky Mountain National Park will blow your mind, and       close by you discover the Greyrock Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. A delightful nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn - Fort Collins; there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Wintersteen Trail. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Why not check out Dry Creek Dam while you're here; get drenched paddling on Cache La Poudre River - North Fork. This place, the Front Range, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Laporte Koa Kampground is a fine                  campground nearby, and hey, Park Creek is a delightful local stream. All through the summer at Miners Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Miners Lake. At Miners Lake you don’t see much rain; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is December. This lake is so wonderful. Budget Host Inn Fort Collins is a magnificent site to get some rest, and paddling on Cache La Poudre River is so much fun.
