Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Mill Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Wahatoya Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Walensburg is a great place to spend a night or two. Hit the slopes at Eldora in close proximity, and Mill Lake Dam is a location that is near Mill Lake. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable things to do

| | here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Camping at Circle The wagons RV Resort is always a wonderful experience, and swing by Indian Creek it's a delightful place to explore.

Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Hiking along the Wade Trail is brilliant fun, and Mill Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Bearadise Cabins and RV Park is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
Mill Lake
is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Take a hike on the Black Hills Trail, needless to say you could also take a look at Hayes Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. Around Mill Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation;
through August this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
High temperatures at Mill Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mill Lake.
