So much fun stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, just extraordinary. Circle The wagons RV Park is a nice local campground, and going for a hike on the Wahatoya Trail is always a splendid adventure. Mill Lake is a location that is relatively dry usually; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Why not pop by Mill Lake Dam if       you're here, and Indian Creek is next to Mill Lake and is always a delight to visit. Mill Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Mill Lake. Why not camp at Bearadise Cabins and RV Park while you're here at Mill Lake; close by you come across the Wade Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. For the period of the long summer days here at Mill Lake,                  high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mill Lake descend into the 0's. And that's not all there is to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. After a long day outdoors Best Western Rambler is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. The slopes of Eldora are so inviting noone can resist, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Black Hills Trail.
