Mill Lake is a nice lake to visit. Having a nice time at Mill Lake is painless. Lakes are nice; Hayes Reservoir is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Mill Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Knights Inn Walensburg is a great choice. A nice close by hotel is Best Western Rambler; playing golf is lots of fun at Grandote Peaks Golf Course. Mill Lake is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Summertime highs at Mill Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's with

| | nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mill Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Near Mill Lake you come across the Black Hills Trail which is a great hiking trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by La Veta Lake North Reservoir. January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Indian Creek is a glorious local stream. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Eldora has pleasant slopes
and a friendly staff; there are nice places to discover along the Wahatoya Trail. Why not camp at Bearadise Cabins and RV Park while you're here at Mill Lake; going for a hike on the Wade Trail is always a great adventure.
