A visit to Mill Creek Reservoir is always a good idea. Mill Creek Reservoir is a pretty wet place ordinarily with lots of rain; the month with most of the snow is March while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Near Mill Creek Reservoir you stumble on the Wolf Creek Stock Driveway which is a great hiking trail, and Mill Creek Dam is a spot that is near Mill Creek Reservoir. on Rio Grande, and after a long day outdoors Ute Bluff Lodge is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Poison Gulch is a good spot to pop by close to Mill Creek Reservoir, and you can go for a hike on the
Hot Creek Stock Driveway.
Camping at Mill Creek Reservoir is fine fun, Beaver Creek Campground is a fine local campground; needless to say Beaver Creek is a charming stream that is worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful.
Dry warm beds await you at Lazy Bear Cabins. The San Juan Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
High temperatures at Mill Creek Reservoir all through the warm days of summer are in the 60's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures
sink down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mill Creek Reservoir.
