If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uinta Mountains. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is plentiful here in the Uinta Mountains. A perfect site for whitewater paddling near Miles Reservoir is Green River, and a pleasant site to camp here at Miles Reservoir is Rainbow Park Campground. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Miles Reservoir. Once the sun is down it       drops down to the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Miles Reservoir are in the 10's. It is very waterless here at Miles Reservoir generally; all through May this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking trail near Miles Reservoir called the Hoy Trail; Offield Dam is not far at all from Miles Reservoir.                  Craig Draw is a good place to spend some time at, and if you're here, you could pop by Dry Creek. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Near Miles Reservoir you hit upon the Jones Hole Trail which is a good hiking trail, and you can run the rapids of Jones Hole Creek. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Miles Reservoir.
