Mile High Lakes is right next door to Henry Dam which is a beautiful place definitely worth stopping at; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Brighton is a perfect place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Brighton Inn, and a round of golf at nearby Box Elder Creek Golf Course is a pleasant way to kill some time. A striking lake like Bowles Reservoir Number 2 in close proximity       to Mile High Lakes is a nice place to explore; Mile High Lakes is good enough to spend more than a day at, Denver Northeast Pepper Pod is a good local campground.
