This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Midway Lake is tremendous fun, Upper Grottos Campground is a tremendous local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Midway Lake; Sawyer Lake Trail is a nice local trail. A pleasant place to pop by close to Midway Lake is Midway Pass; why not take a refreshing hike along the Chapman Trail.
