Middle Ute Lake is always a pleasure to visit. So many fun things to do at Middle Ute Lake, so little time. The Whitehead Trail is a fine hiking trail in the neighborhood of Middle Ute Lake, and Animas River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. Middle Ute Lake is located in the San Juan Mountains. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the San Juan Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Middle Ute Lake, for example Annie Lakes; Middle Ute Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Lost Trail Campground is a splendid local campground. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the San Juan Mountains. Near Middle Ute Lake you hit
upon the Deer Park Trail which is a great hiking trail, and a good nearby hotel is Cascade Village. This lake is so wonderful. All through the warm months highs here at Middle Ute Lake get into the 70's. Through the moonlight hours
it's regularly in the 40's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Middle Ute Lake are in the 0's.
Not much rain falls here at Middle Ute Lake; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is June.
