It is very waterless here at Middle Pond commonly; August is when you get the most rain here, and June on the other hand is the driest. Camping is available at Divide Forks Campground; you can run the rapids of Dolores River. This spot is so good, just look at all the amusing stuff to do close to Middle Pond. Going for a hike on the Cabin Trail is always a great adventure. If you get bored of Middle Pond, you could also       explore nearby Rim Pond, and a fine spot to camp here at Middle Pond is Hay Press Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Middle Pond you stumble on the Rim Trail which is a great hiking trail; a lake close by is Far Pond. Middle Pond is one of the lakes here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has to offer. There is a magnificent hiking trail in the neighborhood                  of Middle Pond called the Snowshoe Trail; if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Fruita is a good choice. High temperatures at Middle Pond during the summer months are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's.
