In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Middle Lake is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. Lakes are such calm locations, why not check out Lake Thomas close to Middle Lake; why not camp at Yeoman Park Campground since you're here at Middle Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the neighborhood of Middle Lake.

| | one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit; great hiking is available along the New York Mountain Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the Sawatch Range has to offer. Beaver Creek Golf Course is a tremendous golf course nearby, and Rainbow Lake is a good lake close by. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Middle Lake; Lake Creek Trail is a perfect local trail, and at Middle Lake you always meet someone from Edwards. High temperatures
at Middle Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Middle Lake nighttime low temperatures during
the wintertime are in the 0's. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Eagle River, and dry warm beds await you at Arrowhead Village.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Eagle
River, and a tremendous place to camp here at Middle Lake is Fulford Cave Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The Lake Charles Trail offers hiking at its best, and hey, Gotta ski right? Beaver Creek is a great place to do that.
At Middle Lake you don’t see much precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here while February is generally the driest month.
