  This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Blue Mountain Inn And Suites is a good place to spend a night or two. Dinosaur National Monument is a great site in close proximity to Middle Cottonwood Reservoir.
Middle Cottonwood Reservoir is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Plug Hat Butte is a good spot to camp nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Rangely, and Rangely Camper Park is a great local campground. Summer brings highs in the
    90's to Middle Cottonwood Reservoir. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Middle Cottonwood Reservoir.
