Middle Alta Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Around Middle Alta Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Mountain Lodge At Telluride is a great place to spend a night or two, and at Middle Alta Lake you can observe Bald Mountain.

| | spot to have a look at while at Middle Alta Lake; on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Lizard Head Trail. The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So much amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Middle Alta Lake, definitely impressive. While you're here at Middle Alta Lake you can take a hike along the Sheep Trail; Capella Telluride is a pleasant place to get some rest.

at Middle Alta Lake, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Telluride. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are really bountiful here at Middle Alta Lake. Get wet paddling on Mineral Creek - South, also Middle Alta Lake Dam is worth stopping
at since you're here. And that's not all you can do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Lakes? Sure, Alta Lakes is close at hand; paddling on San Miguel River is so much fun.
There are other spots here than Middle Alta
Lake, for example Cushman Lake, and if you came to camp Riverwood Inn and RV Park is a good place to do that. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Middle Alta Lake. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. The winter brings
highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Middle Alta Lake. Just can't get enough of the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Spring Gulch is near Middle Alta Lake and is positively a magnificent spot to pop by,
and enjoy a round of golf at Telluride Ski & Golf Club.
And if that's not enough there's loads more entertaining things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Going for a hike along the Deep Creek Trail will let you absorb
the natural beauty of this area, and the slopes of Silverton are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Middle Alta Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sunshine Campground
is a great place for that, and let's not forget Waterfall Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here.
