Middle Alta Lake is always a pleasure to visit. That right there is a heap of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has it all. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Silverton since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Mountain Lodge At Telluride is a tremendous choice, and why not check out Middle Alta Lake Dam while you're here. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Lizard

This lake is so wonderful. You simply should visit Ophir Needles since you're here at Middle Alta Lake; you'll locate a beautiful lake called Alta Lakes. The summit of Bald Mountain can be made out from Middle Alta Lake, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Miguel River. Middle Alta Lake is one of the lakes here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Telluride Ski & Golf Club is a golf course
right next door to Middle Alta Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Deep Creek Trail. Be careful coming to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Whitewater paddling is
glorious on Mineral Creek - South, and everyone loves Gold King Basin.
Middle Alta Lake is pretty waterless generally; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. And that's not all you
can do here at Middle Alta Lake. Don't forget to take a good little trip to Waterfall Creek; dry warm beds await you at Bear Creek Lodge at Mtn. Vlg.. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area in the
vicinity of Middle Alta Lake has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Sunshine Campground is a wonderful site to camp, and nearby you hit upon Spring Gulch which is a splendid place to take a look at.
