     Michigan Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tenmile Creek, and naturally, this is a tremendous neighborhood for people who like lakes, Lower Michigan Reservoir is a lake close at hand. If you desire a little side tour, try Georgia Pass; Blazing Saddles is a nice site to get some rest. Why not explore nearby Gibson Creek since you're here  
   at Michigan Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Burro Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Michigan Lake called the Argentine North Fork Trail, and a day on the slopes of Crested Butte is just what you need.                you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. Woods Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Sun Downer.
This is a popular spot for folks from Silverthorne, and if you came for an overnight stay Selkirk Campground is a good spot to camp. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Michigan Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Michigan Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Michigan Lake is peerless! One of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Michigan Lake is Mount Guyot.
Camping is available at Michigan Creek Campground; since you're here you can take a hike along the Old Boreas Wagon Road. The snow is splendid at Keystone, and wonderful water scenery is available at Upper Michigan Dam close to Michigan Lake.
