This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Howelsen Hill if you're here, and why not camp at Lakeside Campground since you're here at Mica Lake. If only every location had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be. A pleasant visit to Mica Basin is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. A pleasant nearby hotel is Western Lodge, and what would winter be without some skiing at Steamboat.

| | there lots of enjoyable stuff to do close to Mica Lake. If you need a location to stay CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a perfect choice, and a delightful site to camp here at Mica Lake is Beaver Creek Campground. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Park Range. Mica Creek is a delightful local stream; do have a look at Lake Diana, it's a beautiful lake. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful.

here at Mica Lake, you could also stop by beautiful Gilpin Lake, and there are brilliant sites to look at along the Three Island Lake Trail. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Elk River, and the Sawtooth Range casts its shadow over Mica Lake. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Park Range rules! Going for a hike on the Gilpin Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Encampment River
has a great whitewater paddling spot close by.
Mica Lake is usually a rather waterless place; April is the month that gets the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. From Mica Lake you obtain
a magnificent panorama of Big Agnes Mountain, and nearby you stumble on the Mica Basin Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Summer at Mica Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily
in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while Mica Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
