Why not stop by Mica Lake if you're passing through these parts. So many entertaining things in the Park Range, just remarkable. A brilliant spot like Mica Basin here at Mica Lake is too delightful to miss; from Mica Lake you get a pleasant sight of Big Agnes Mountain. At Mica Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's

place to camp nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you come at the right time of year, Encampment River offers some perfect whitewater, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Steamboat.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mica Lake, you could also have a look at pretty Gilpin Lake, and Beaver Creek Campground is a brilliant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Elk River
in a kayak, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Three Island Lake Trail. If you need a location to stay Western Lodge is a good choice; why not head up to Howelsen Hill and strap some skis to your feet.
Man, is there
plenty of cool things to do close to Mica Lake. The Gilpin Trail offers hiking at its best. At Mica Lake you don’t see much precipitation; through April this area sees the most rain while January is regularly the driest month. Three Island Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and there's great hiking along the Mica Basin Trail.
