The slopes of Steamboat are so inviting nobody can resist; there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Divide Trail. At Mexican Creek Dam in the neighborhood of Mexican Reservoir there are some attention-grabbing things to see. There's so much to do here at Mexican Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Grizzly Creek Campground is a good       spot for that. All through the summer months, highs generally are in the 80's at Mexican Reservoir. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Mexican Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. At Mexican Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; December is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month is August. This lake is so wonderful. On a                  splendid day at Mexican Reservoir you can take a hike along the Newcomb Creek Trail, and McGowan Reservoir is a good lake nearby. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. If the weather is good here at Mexican Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Percy Lake Trail, and if you need a location to stay Winterwood Townhomes is a pleasant choice. And if that's not enough there's a load more fun things to do in the Park Range. Lakes? Sure, McGowan Reservoir is around here; you can stay the night at Hidden Lakes Campground. Mexican Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Park Range.
