After a long day outdoors The Broadmoor is a fine place to spend a night or two, and great hiking is available along the Palmer Trail. Mesa Reservoir is a beautiful       lake in the Front Range. Go for a hike on the Penrose Trail; from Mesa Reservoir you acquire a delightful panorama of Mount Cutler. Around Mesa Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and January on the other hand is the driest. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mesa Reservoir temperatures drop to the 0's. Be careful coming to the Front Range, you might not ever want to return back home again.
