So much fun stuff to do at Mesa Reservoir, so little time. Mesa Reservoir is right by the Palmer Trail; probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, South Suburban Reservoir is just a very short distance away. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Front Range. Hiking along the Indian Trail is great fun, and nearby you stumble on tremendous sites like Gardiner Gulch. Summertime       at Mesa Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Mesa Reservoir all through the wintertime typically drop into the 0's. At Mesa Reservoir you don’t see much rain; July is the month that gets the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. A golf course next to Mesa Reservoir is Patty Jewett Golf Course. You'll need more than                  a day to explore everything Mesa Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Goldfield RV Campground. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Cheyenne Canon Inn is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a magnificent location close by. This location is unbeatable, just check out all the cool stuff to do close to Mesa Reservoir. Mesa Reservoir is near South Suburban Dam which is a delightful spot unquestionably worth stopping at, and you'll probably meet some people from Colorado Springs here. This lake is so wonderful. Interesting geology is available here; Point Sublime is near Mesa Reservoir, and Mesa Reservoir is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Gold Camp Promotions is a glorious spot to camp nearby. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. North Cheyenne Creek is a stream that you may come across during your stay; Mount Cutler is easy to spot from Mesa Reservoir. You truly must love the Front Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Penrose Trail; of course, this is a pleasant area for folks who like lakes, Gold Camp Reservoir is a lake in close proximity.
