All the outdoors entertaining things in the Front Range will keep you coming back many times. Rocky Mountain National Park is a nice place next to Mesa Reservoir, and Residence Inn By Marriott Boulder is a nice place to get some rest. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Mesa Reservoir. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures       drop down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Mesa Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Flatirons Golf Course, and Stone Mountain Lodge and RV Park is a tremendous local campground. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mesa Reservoir. Mesa Reservoir is one of the lakes                  here in the Front Range. Mesa Reservoir is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Longmont Koa Kampground is a perfect location to camp nearby, and nearby you find the Green Mountain Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. Be careful coming to Mesa Reservoir, you might not ever want to go back home again. You can run the rapids of Boulder Creek near Mesa Reservoir; a good close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Boulder, Co. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. The fine folks of Boulder like to hang out nearby, and going for a hike on the Mesa Trail is always a pleasant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Mesa Park Dam is pretty and it's close to Mesa Reservoir, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Saddle Rock Trail. Looking for something close to Mesa Reservoir? Left Hand Valley Reservoir is in the vicinity, needless to say you could also pop by Loukonen Brothers Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. Not much rainfall falls here at Mesa Reservoir; through May this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
