Stay the night at Glacier Spring Campground; Powderhorn has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. At Mesa Lake you don’t see much rain; October is the wettest month with most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Kannah Creek; don't leave Mesa Lake without first checking out Spruce Point. | | high temperatures in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Mesa Lake all through the winter mostly drop into the 10's. You could also visit Glacier Springs if you're here at Mesa Lake; it's close by, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Carson Lake Trail. offer, you can camp at Jumbo Reservoir Campground. A lake close by is Mesa Lake Number 3; if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Deep Creek Trail.
