There's so much to do here at Meridian Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crested Butte Mountain Resort is a delightful place for that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Lake Brennand. You simply must go for Meridian Lake. Lake Brennand Dam is worth stopping at if you're here. Lost Lake Campground
14 miles away
I just camped at Lost Lake 2 weeks ago! It is so beautiful and serene they were holding a wedding there 2 days after we left. With only 10 campsites, it is quiet and ideal for families or couples. A beautiful view of Lost Lake Slough and of the mountains in the background greeted us in the morning. The full moon rising over the crest of the mountain was a real treat the first night we got there. There is a 3 mile hike within walking distance on which we saw beautiful wildflowers, 2 waterfalls, and 3 lakes. ENJOY!...
