A lake nearby is Rito Hondo Reservoir, and the Rough Creek Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Here at Meadow Reservoir you can observe Baldy Cinco. There's so much to do here at Meadow Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, North Clear Creek Campground is a great site for that. Meadow Reservoir is regularly a quite dried out place; August is when you get the most       rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. The scenery at Meadow Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Meadow Reservoir is delightful; The Water Wheel Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Rio Grande is so much fun, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Cebolla Trail. During the summer highs here at Meadow Reservoir get                  into the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Meadow Reservoir dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Float down the rapids of Lake Fork Gunnison River in a kayak, and you can stay the night at Spring Creek Campground. That right there is a load of cool things already but it goes on, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has it all.
