Meadow Creek Lake gets very little rainfall; during the month of October you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. A fine close by hotel is Rodeway Inn New Castle. Lakes are great; Meadow Creek Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Meadow Creek Lake. Good hiking is available along the Mansfield Ditch Trail, and Meadow Creek Dam is an exciting       thing to check out. High temperatures at Meadow Creek Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Meadow Creek Lake drop into the 0's. Don't leave Meadow Creek Lake without first going for a hike along the Last Chance Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything                  Meadow Creek Lake has to offer, you can camp at Meadow Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Meadow Creek Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Clark Cabin Campground is a good place for that; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SILT is a nice place to spend a night or two. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Meadow Creek Lake. Paddling on White River - South Fork is so much fun, and you can go for a hike on the Fayville Trail.
