The beauty of McReynolds Reservoir attracts many people from all around. Nearby lakes? Sure, Penrose-Rosemont Reservoir is right next door to McReynolds Reservoir; camping is available at Clyde Campground. And that's not all you can do here in the Front Range. Some of the water close by flows, like Boehmer Creek, and The Cliff House Hotel at Pikes Peak is a good spot to get some rest. Just can't get enough of the Front Range. The view of wonderful Almagre

Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a very delightful spot to
stop at in the neighborhood of McReynolds Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Stratton Reservoir since you're here at McReynolds Reservoir; it's close by, and there are perfect spots to discover along the Palmer
Trail. Summertime highs at McReynolds Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; overnight lows through the wintertime for
McReynolds Reservoir tend to be in the 0's.
There's just no way somebody can get bored here at McReynolds Reservoir. McReynolds Dam is pretty and it's right next door to McReynolds Reservoir, and going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a magnificent adventure. McReynolds Reservoir is located in the Front Range.
