Dry warm beds await you at Key To The Rockies Lodging At Keystone; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Loveland is reasonably near. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Bobtail Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here, and at McQueary Lake you can make out Mount Nystrom. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. There's brilliant       hiking along the Byers Peak Trail, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Woods Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Snake River Village Townhomes is a splendid site to get some rest, and McQueary Lake is a place with many visitors from Silverthorne. At McQueary Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and January is the month with the least moisture. Just can't get enough of McQueary Lake. There's so much to do here at McQueary                  Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mizpah Campground is a good place for that. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. If you want a little side journey, try Jones Pass, and don't leave McQueary Lake without first going for a hike along the Saint Louis Trail. At McQueary Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 30's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's; nighttime lows through the wintertime for McQueary Lake tend to be in the-10's. Looking for something next to McQueary Lake? Jefferson Lake is in close proximity, and you can stay the night at Byers Creek Campground. But wait, there's more to do near McQueary Lake. The South Fork Trail offers hiking at its best, and the skiing at Arapahoe Basin is wonderful.
