McQueary Lake is a nice lake to visit. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at McQueary Lake. McQueary Lake is a location that is quite arid generally; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while January is generally the driest month. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Park Range will keep you coming back over and over. | | yourself if you don’t go skiing at Arapahoe Basin while you're here. McQueary Lake is located in the Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Byers Peak Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Loveland. From McQueary Lake you get a wonderful sight of Mount Nystrom, and Mizpah Campground is a good campground here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. The Rockies Lodging At Keystone is a glorious location to get some rest. A perfect place to stop by close to McQueary Lake is Jones Pass, and soar down the rapids of Woods Creek in a kayak. High temperatures at McQueary Lake throughout
the warm days of summer are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at McQueary Lake are in the-10's. This lake is
so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Saint Louis Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Vasquez Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Byers Creek
Campground is a glorious location to camp, and great hiking is available along the South Fork Trail. Any time is a tremendous time at McQueary Lake if you like the outdoors. There are plenty of people from Silverthorne here at McQueary Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear Creek - West Fork.
