    It's always fun to stop by McQueary Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. Clear Creek - West Fork is a pleasant whitewater spot in the vicinity of McQueary Lake; the South Fork Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Park Range. McQueary Lake is not the only place nearby, Jefferson Lake is a nearby lake, and you can run the rapids of Woods Creek.
This lake is so wonderful.
 
   Camping at Byers Creek Campground is always a nice experience; Jones Pass is another pleasant location to stop by nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Bobtail Creek from McQueary Lake is trouble-free, and dry warm beds await you at Snake River Village Townhomes. Around McQueary Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain while January is ordinarily the driest month.
So many exciting things in the Park Range,
 
               just incredible. Very delightful scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Loveland, and if you get bored of McQueary Lake you could also stop by nearby Vasquez Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Arapahoe Basin since you're here; if you need a site to stay Key To The Rockies Lodging At Keystone is a good choice. Lots of people from Silverthorne come to McQueary Lake, and a wonderful place to camp here at McQueary Lake is Mizpah Campground.
Summer brings highs in the 70's to McQueary Lake, and the night is slightly cooler of course, usually in the 30's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at McQueary Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. This site rocks, just explore all the exciting things to do in the neighborhood of McQueary Lake. A fine view of picturesque Mount Nystrom is available from McQueary Lake; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Saint Louis Trail. Any time is a wonderful time at McQueary Lake if you love the outdoors. On a great day at McQueary Lake you can take a hike along the Byers Peak Trail.
