All through the warm days of summer at McKoon Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. There are great locations to discover along the Crag Crest Trail, and McKoon Dam is an interesting thing to check       out. If you need a spot to stay Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a good choice, and don't leave McKoon Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Lily Lake Trail.
