one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, not enough time. Take a hike on the Cascade Trail. Why not stop by Creager Dam if you're here,
and lakes are such calm places, why not explore Murray Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Horse Ranch Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything McKinley Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Cross D Bar Trout Ranch.
