Do stop by McKeever Reservoir while you're in this part of Colorado. This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. After a long day outdoors Mountain Lodge At Telluride is a great site to spend a night or two, and a short tour to Saint Joe Spring is always worthwhile. During the summer at McKeever Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are

This lake is so wonderful. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; McKeever Reservoir has it all. Iron Spring Campground is a great campground here; you might also want to pay a visit to Saint Joe Draw if you're here at McKeever Reservoir. Man, is there loads of cool things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling near McKeever Reservoir is San Miguel River; you can run the
rapids of San Miguel River. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Montrose here at McKeever Reservoir; do take a hike on the Dry Creek Trail. McKeever Reservoir is a good spot to camp, Antone Spring Campground
is a good spot, and McKeever Reservoir is right by the Horsefly Trail.
You just should adore the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. North Creek is near McKeever Reservoir and is always a joy to explore, and hiking along the Paradox Road is wonderful fun.
