McIntire Reservoir is mostly a relatively dehydrated spot; the month with most of the rain is August; January is when it's the driest. McIntire Reservoir is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Ute Creek RV Park is a perfect place to camp nearby, and there are pleasant sites to explore along the Strawberry Trail. There's no way somebody can       get bored here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. At McIntire Reservoir through the summer highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for McIntire Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. McIntire Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Martin Creek from McIntire Reservoir is simple,                  and Pala Dura Reservoir is a great lake nearby. So many exciting things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, not enough time. McIntire Dam is a place that is right next door to McIntire Reservoir, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not have a look at Montez Number 5 Reservoir. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! McIntire Reservoir is excellent!
