You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at McGowan Reservoir. McGowan Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Lakes Campground is a good local campground, and Middle Fork Mexican Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting. Really wonderful skiing awaits       you at Steamboat, and if you need a site to stay Winterwood Townhomes is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. McGowan Dam is worth stopping at since you're here; the Newcomb Creek Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Yeah, come up here to the Park Range for a good time. On a good day at McGowan Reservoir you can take a hike along the Percy Lake Trail, and camping at Grizzly Creek Campground is always a nice experience. Mexican Reservoir is a pleasant                  lake in the vicinity of McGowan Reservoir; nearby you discover the Divide Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Be careful coming to the Park Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Lakes? Sure, McGowan Reservoir is nearby, and a brilliant close by hotel is Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. The warmest time of the year at McGowan Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's.
