It's always fun to stop by McGinnis Reservoir. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A pleasant trip to Skinny Fish Basin is a good way to spend an afternoon, and going for a hike on the South Derby Trail is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. At McGinnis Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that snows the most, and June on the other hand is the driest.
