At McFarland Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at McFarland Pond sink into the 10's. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Reid Ponds right next door to McFarland Pond; if you're looking for       some flowing water? Try Bijou Creek. Not much rain falls here at McFarland Pond; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Fort Morgan-Days Inn is a great choice, and a round of golf at nearby Fort Morgan Golf Course is a good way to kill some time. After a long day outdoors Ft. Morgan Super 8 Motel is a fine site to spend a night or two, and you'll hit upon                  a beautiful lake called Morgan Game and Fish Conservation Club Pond. At McFarland Pond you always meet someone from Fort Morgan, and Muir Springs is a wonderful local attraction. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do right next door to McFarland Pond. Why not camp at Wayward wind Mobile Home Park since you're here at McFarland Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Jackson Lake is a good place to camp.   Ft.
