But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Park Range. If the weather is great here at McElroy Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Sheep Drive Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Rock Creek. Having a magnificent time in the Park Range is trouble-free. Dry warm beds await you at Beaver Creek West Condominiums, and obviously, this is a great area for folks who like lakes, Hinman Reservoir       is a lake in close proximity. McElroy Reservoir is typically a relatively waterless spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not pop by McElroy Dam if you're here, and going for a hike along the Tepee Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Just can't get enough of McElroy Reservoir. If you came to camp Gore                  Pass Campground is a pleasant place to do that, and after a long day outdoors Allington Inn and Suites of Kremmling is a good site to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at McElroy Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Wolford Campground is a fine place for that, and hiking along the Midway Trail is splendid fun. This lake is so wonderful. Why not explore nearby Burke Spring Creek while you're here at McElroy Reservoir. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Upper Craven Reservoir, and get drenched paddling on Colorado River. Summer at McElroy Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's.
