Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. There's perfect hiking along the Midway Trail; you're perhaps addicted to lakes, Hinman Reservoir is one of those close by. McElroy Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Park Range will keep you coming back over and over. Why not camp at Red Mountain RV Park while you're here at McElroy Reservoir. McElroy Reservoir is usually       a reasonably dried out location; the month with most of the rain is July, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. McElroy Reservoir is right by the Sheep Drive Trail, and paddling on Colorado River is so much fun. The Tepee Creek Trail offers hiking at its best; get drenched paddling on Rock Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Camping is available at Gore Pass Campground, and after a long day outdoors Sheraton                  Mountain Vista Resort is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. During the summertime here at McElroy Reservoir, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while McElroy Reservoir night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
