This lake is so wonderful. Clinton Gulch Dam Reservoir is a great lake close to Mayflower Trailings Pond; get drenched paddling on Arkansas River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Mayflower Trailings Pond. A nice close by hotel is Copper Junction Condominiums; Breckenridge is a very popular ski area nearby. Carbonate Hill       can be seen from Mayflower Trailings Pond; there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Wheeler Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Mayflower Trailings Pond; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. The warmest time of the year at Mayflower Trailings Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the                  20's with temperatures at Mayflower Trailings Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Timber Creek Condominums is a perfect location to spend a night or two; you can hit the slopes at Copper Mountain around here. There's so much to do here at Mayflower Trailings Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Black Lakes Campground is a splendid site for that, and Mayflower Trailings Pond is not far at all from Silverthorne.
