Paddling on Arkansas River is so much fun; after a long day outdoors Crystal Peak Lodge is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Mayflower Lakes is close to Upper Blue Dam which is a stunning site undeniably worth a visit; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Wheeler Trail.       Lots of people from Silverthorne come to Mayflower Lakes, and Mayflower Lakes is a great site to visit for more than one day, Tiger Run Resort is a great site to camp nearby. Be careful coming to Mayflower Lakes, you might not ever want to go back home again. If the weather is pretty, you acquire a good sight of Father Dyer Peak from Mayflower Lakes, and going for a hike along the Burro Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. There's                  no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Crested Butte, and whitewater paddling is nice on Tenmile Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Los Pinos by ResortQuest is a glorious choice; do stop by Crystal Creek if you're here at Mayflower Lakes. Not far from Mayflower Lakes, you'll locate Lower Mohawk Lake which is a beautiful lake, and Kite Lake Campground is a good local campground.
