Maxwell Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. The Bear Peak Trail offers hiking at its best, and you'll probably meet some folks from Boulder here. Maxwell Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. All the outdoors exciting stuff near Maxwell Reservoir will keep you coming back time and again.
All year is a delightful time in the Front Range if you fancy the outdoors. A pleasant close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Boulder,

| | Co, and Rocky Mountain National Park is a magnificent national park. This lake is so wonderful. Fourmile Canyon is a good place to spend some time at; after a long day outdoors Hotel Boulderado is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Maxwell Reservoir rocks! If you came for an overnight stay Stone Mountain Lodge and RV Park is a great place to camp, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Flatirons Golf Course.

Whitewater paddling is splendid on Boulder Creek, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Maxwell Lake. The warmest time of the year at Maxwell Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the
50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Maxwell Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Front Range. There's tremendous
hiking along the Saddle Rock Trail, and Mount Sanitas is a peak you can spot from Maxwell Reservoir.
At Maxwell Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January
on the other hand is the driest. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder Creek, and do visit Gregory Creek while you're here at Maxwell Reservoir. Camping at Maxwell Reservoir is nice fun, Golden
Gate is a nice local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Maxwell Reservoir; Green Mountain Trail is a great local trail.
