All through the warmest time of the year here at Maxwell Reservoir, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Maxwell Reservoir through the winter mostly sink into the 10's. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more cool things to       do here in the Front Range. If the weather is perfect here at Maxwell Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Bear Peak Trail, and you're sure to encounter some good folks from Boulder here. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Maxwell Lake, and Fourmile Canyon is a great place to spend some time. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Front Range is excellent! For you golfers we recommend nearby Flatirons Golf Course, and Rocky Mountain                  National Park is a wonderful location nearby. There's so much to do here at Maxwell Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Stone Mountain Lodge and RV Park is a tremendous location for that, and a nice close by hotel is St Julien Boulder*s Hotel and Spa. Glide down the rapids of Boulder Creek in a kayak; going for a hike along the Green Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. Maxwell Reservoir is pretty dry regularly; the month with most of the rain is May while January is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Wonderland Lake if you're here at Maxwell Reservoir; it's close by, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Saddle Rock Trail. Paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun, and if you came to camp Golden Gate is a magnificent place to do that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Boulder, Co is a magnificent choice. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Maxwell Reservoir.
