Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Martha Lake is one of them. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area near Martha Lake has to offer. Elk River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by; a forest nearby is Routt National Forest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Martha Lake has to offer, you can camp at Granite Campground; the Crags Trail

| | is a great hiking trail nearby.
A pleasant panorama of wonderful Round Mountain is available from Martha Lake, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Percy Lake Trail. You clearly should like the Park Range. Stay the night at Summit Lake Campground, and George Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Through the months of summer here at Martha Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures | |

are in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Martha Lake temperatures sink to the-10's.
Man, is there a lot of enjoyable stuff to do in the Park Range.
If you're here, you might as well stop by Buffalo Pass, and hey, Gotta ski right? Steamboat is a great place to do that. After a long day outdoors Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums is a great site to spend a night or two, and enjoy
a round of golf at Haymaker Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Howelsen Hill, and going for a hike along the Newcomb Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
And that's not all you can do here at Martha Lake. At Martha Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the snow is December, and August is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Martha
Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Jonah Lake, and Winterwood Townhomes is a glorious place to get some rest.
