You'll meet a lot of people from Edwards here, and a great nearby hotel is Laurelwood Condominiums. A delightful place for whitewater paddling near Maroon Lake is Roaring Fork, and one of the main features of the surroundings of Maroon Lake is Pyramid Peak. Around Maroon Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the rain falls during August; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Maroon Lake. campground. Camping at East Maroon Portal Campground is always a wonderful experience, and going for a hike along the Granite Basin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful.
Aspen Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood; hiking along the Trail Riders Trail is wonderful fun. At Maroon Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's.
For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's while Maroon Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Maroon Lake. While
you're here at Maroon Lake you can take a hike along the Blue Creek Trail, and get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of East River.
