Whitewater paddling is splendid on Roaring Fork, and the sight of Pyramid Peak is lovely. At Maroon Lake you don’t see much precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout       August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Going for a hike along the Granite Basin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; you're most likely hooked on lakes, Willow Lake is one of those nearby.
