The scenery at Mill Lake Dam in the vicinity of Marker Lake is delightful; going for a hike on the Black Hills Trail is always a wonderful adventure. If you're here at Marker Lake and you like golf, you can stop at Grandote Peaks Golf Course, and there are splendid locations to discover along the Wade Trail. You'll need more than a day       to look at everything Marker Lake has to offer, you can camp at Circle The wagons RV Park, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Rambler is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Echo Creek if you're here at Marker Lake; Profile Rock is something you shouldn't miss if you're here. Marker Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Head up to Eldora and strap some skis to your feet; don't leave Marker Lake without                  first going for a hike along the Peaks Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Goemmer Butte is easily observed from Marker Lake, and after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Walensburg is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Sangre De Cristo Mountains has to offer. McDonald Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; if you're here why not go to Echo Canyon. All through the summer months at Marker Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while Marker Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Marker Lake. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Marker Lake. While you're here at Marker Lake, you could also stop by stunning Hayes Reservoir; Marker Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Bearadise Cabins and RV Park is a good place to camp nearby.
